Summer camp carnival
Dear parents,
Friday July 29th will be carnival day at camp. All campers will participate in relays, carnival games, water games etc. In the afternoon, the different groups will show their peers some of what they have learned or otherwise done during camp. Half-day campers are welcome to stay all day. Due to space limitations we unfortunately cannot invite parents to the show.
Please make sure your campers bring their swim suit, a towel, shoes that can get wet and sun protection for this day!

Tonie’s class
Dear Parents,
As we start our final week of language camp, I’d like to share with you what camp was like from a teacher and counselors perspective. It was great experience for the kids during the French immersion program. Kids enjoyed every aspect of the culture of every country we have visited. They enjoyed flying by Helicopter from the Greek Islands to Nice, to Italy feeding their curiosity about the sea, and its animals, the boats from above. They learned more about France while visiting the French Embassy. We ended our journey tasting croissants, and delicious crepes “au chocolat” that we made at the camp to celebrate Bastille Day.
The campers enjoyed daily singing and learning new vocabulary through songs; to every subject its song (fifteen songs in all) throughout our project about the family. One of the campers was surprised to know that I was a baby before I became a mom of three girls.
You will be amazed to discover how far they can go with their imagination, and creative drawings to illustrate the booklet of songs they learned.
You may want to have a look at pictures taken during the class, to watch your child working on his project cutting, gluing and coloring, even swimming or participating in an other activity, listening to any presentation at the camp.
Enjoy the rest of the summer, and I hope to see your child again next year!
